Peanut Butter Challenge
October is Peanut Butter Challenge Month, and we would love for you to help Carr School in conjunction with the UF/IFAS Calhoun County Extension Office help fight hunger in our community!
The Peanut Butter Challenge is a statewide 4-H food drive that collects unopened, in-date jars of peanut butter to help provide food for families in need. Throughout the month of October, students, families, teachers, and staff are asked to donate jars of peanut butter. Each classroom will have a box for donations. All peanut butter donations collected in Calhoun County will be matched by the Peanut Producers Association of Florida, helping make an even greater impact in our community. All donations collected through our local challenge will be distributed to local food pantries, helping support families right here in our community.
